In a world where digitisation is rapidly transforming our lives, trust in information, media, institutions, and one another can no longer be taken for granted. Algorithms largely determine the information we receive, while disinformation spreads at lightning speed. Moreover, as citizens, we have no control over our personal data, which is often in the hands of large foreign tech companies. This undermines democratic processes and places pressure on society. THETA is established to reverse this trend.
